Excalibur Grand Hotel Midieval Luxury

by Lux Living on June 27, 2008

If you prefer to return to the Medieval Age, then this may be your hotel. It is also another huge hotel located in the Strip.

The Excalibur Grand Hotel, is located in southwest of Las Vegas, just next to Tropicana and Las Vegas Boulevard. The beautifulĀ building looks like a real medieval castle.

Is a very good option specially if you are travelling with children, they will have a lot of fun here with its Tournament of Kings, and Fantasy Faire midway.

The hotel has 4,008 rooms, and you can find a room here from $50 per night a very good price comparing with other hotels along the strip. Also has a few restaurants and a very good buffet restaurant, see my restaurant tip for more info.

With a castle exterior, the hotel features a casino with slot machines, table games, keno, poker, and a race and sports book.

The Tournament of Kings dinner show features invading armies, jousting knights, and dining sans utensils. Other live entertainment includes stage shows and comic performances.

Excalibur’s Castle Walk is a promenade above the casino that features a variety of shops and street vendors. The Excalibur Midway features games and a video arcade. The hotel also features a beauty salon, two swimming pools, a manmade mountain, waterfalls, and two waterslides.

The Royal Treatment Spa and Fitness Center offers massages, facials, tanning beds, an exercise facility, and separate pools and saunas for men and women.

Dining options include the Roundtable Buffet, The Steakhouse at Camelot, Sir Galahad’s Pub & Prime Rib House, Regale Italian Eatery, the 24-hour Sherwood Forest Cafe, and the Village Food Court. Also, Dick’s Last Resort is now open at Excalibur

Excalibur Hotel and Casino is located on the Las Vegas Strip, only two miles from McCarran International Airport.
