In Downtown Las Vegas, you can see up close the largest golden nugget in the world at the Golden Nugget Las Vegas Hotel. The exhibit is open for viewing 24 hours a day.
The large gold nugget is named “Hand of Faith.” It’s the size of a baby, and it weighs almost 62 pounds.
It was found in 1980 by a guy in Australia with a metal detector, who reportedly almost didn’t bother to dig it up because he thought that his machine was faulty.
Hand of Faith was only six inches below the surface. The Golden Nugget hotel bought it for a million dollars.

This nugget, (the hand of faith) is the largest remaining gold nugget ever found. the welcome stranger also found in australia was many times bigger, but the welcome was cut into smaller pieces at the time of weighing it, because there were no scales big enough to weigh it. The hand of faith is regarded as the biggest KNOWN nugget as there are many that never see the light of day as the finders dont want to be noticed. (and pay the tax).

Hay Jack, have you ever been prospecting, probably not. have you ever found gold, probably not. so you dont know what your talking about.
you think that if you found a nugget worth $2 million dollars you would happily give $1 million dollars to the government for tax.
I DONT THINK SO.
and yes it is easy to sell gold that big, tax free, no names asked. money within 48 hours. i could name at least 3 people in australia that would do this. and there is probably a lot more i dont know about.
so you eat your own poop pal.
